Terms of Service

1. The service

MarginViewer is an analytics tool that connects to your Etsy shop through Etsy's official API and shows you your revenue, fees, costs and profit. MarginViewer is a read-only reporting tool: it does not create, edit or delete anything in your shop.

2. Your account

You must be the owner (or an authorized operator) of any Etsy shop you connect. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may disconnect your shop or delete your account at any time.

3. Accuracy of numbers

Profit figures are calculated from data provided by the Etsy API together with costs you enter yourself. While we work hard to reconcile every fee correctly, figures may occasionally differ from Etsy's official financial statements (for example due to sync timing, currency conversion, or pending charges). Etsy's own statements are the authoritative record; MarginViewer is a decision-support tool, not accounting, tax, or legal advice.

4. Etsy relationship

The term "Etsy" is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc. Your use of Etsy itself remains governed by Etsy's own terms and policies.

5. Subscriptions and cancellation

Paid plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. During beta, the service is provided free of charge and features may change.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use MarginViewer to access shops you do not own or operate, attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures, or resell the service without our written permission.

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for business decisions made based on figures shown in the app.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination you may request an export and deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
